In her name “Lietuviškas midus” has created a new mead MILDA with soft taste of honey and propolis.
Natural fermentation mead, semi-sweet. low in sugar, also known as North European wine. The drink is made only from honey collected in Lithuania, preserving unique production technologies. Significant ingredient – bee propolis. Perfect fit with Thailand and Indian cuisine, fish and chicken.

MEAD – THE ORIGIN OF ALCOHOL BEVERAGES
The beehives destroyed by a bear got rainwater and fermented, then drunk by a hunter who passed by.
This episode about 9000 years ago was said to be the origin of liquor. Mead is not only for ordinary people but also attracted many kings, queens and even mythological gods.
ORIGIN OF HONEYMOON
In medieval Europe, mead is believed to be blessed with children and there was a custom that newlyweds drank mead on the night of the full moon to make children. This is the etymology of “honeymoon” and has been a gift of marriage as an auspicious item.

A beautiful golden honey wine that combines the deep sweetness of domestic natural honey from Lithuania, also known as the honey power, with the gorgeous aroma of domestic herbs. It is dry and smooth 10% alcohol. It is also recommended for those who love wine.
NATURAL WATER SOURCE RICH IN MINERALS
Lithuania is said to have more than 4000 lakes and has abundant sources of natural mineral water. The 900 km long Nemunas river (English name: Neman River) which flows across the country to the Baltic Sea is also famous. Stakliskes region where the brewery locates is also a source of mineral-rich hard water.
HOW TO DRINK ACCORDING TO THE SCENE
ACCORDING TO THE SEASON
Basically, you can enjoy it at room temperature. In the summer, cool it and add mint to refresh. You can enjoy a rich scent if you warm it up a bit in winter and add cinnamon sticks and cloves.
FOOD PAIRING
Meads are great for aperitifs and dessert wines. It goes well with sweets and also with dairy products such as cheese, yogurt, vanilla and whipped cream. You can enjoy adult sweets if you add mead sorbet.
