Aged for 24 months, DŽIUGAS® Delicate hard cheese is like a harmony of youth and wisdom. Served with a glass of fine wine, garnished with onion or fig chutneys, blueberry, pansy, peach, orange or apricot jam, it will make a delightful addition to the festive party table. Or maybe you’d like to dip the crispy pieces in a dried fruit and red wine sauce? You’ll enjoy a subtle and savoury combination of sweetness.

This is a mature cheese with a subtle richness. The elegance of the pure, spicy, strong flavour intertwines with the delicate aromas of the dried fruit and the cheese and spreads out in pieces that melt in the mouth. Firm and pleasantly refractory. Yellow in colour, turning greenish opaque at the rind. The hard texture is playfully scattered with irregularly shaped small eyes.
